Why are so many ISDs allowed to play under Celina?
Prior to 2022, Celina hockey players were rostered under Prosper ISD's Hockey Club. With the continued growth in North Texas, Prosper had developed mutiple JV and Varsity teams. This facilitated Celina to form their own club. Celina is still growing rapidly, however, it will take some time to become a single ISD club. The League uses multiple ISDs to complete rosters and foster the growth of youth hockey. It wouldn't surprise us to see all the ISDs under Celina's banner form their own clubs in the future.
